Collaborating

We expect to be able to award between 5 and 7 grants of between 7000 and 5000 pounds each to collaborative projects lasting no more than six months that arise as a result of this workshop. These funds can be used to support research costs (including travel, consumables, publication costs and small equipment), but not to cover institutional overheads, salaries or student fees. The following eligibility rules will apply:
1. The proposals must address the economic development and/or welfare of Pakistan
2. Proposals must involve at least one workshop delegate from the UK and one workshop delegate from Pakistan
3. Proposals must be submitted by a UK delegate from the workshop through a dedicated link, which will become available after the workshop
4. The proposed work should tackle an existing problem caused by climate change
5. Applicants must consider the impact of their project on gender equality
6. Projects must demonstrate how the project will generate positive development-related impact in the next 10 years
7. All activities must be complete by 31st March 2022
8. Successful applicants will be required to submit mid-term and final reports on the progress of their projects, and to submit receipts for costs incurred
9. Proposals submitted by parties who did not attend the workshop will not be considered
Further details on the application process and a template application form will be provided to the delegates who are selected to attend the workshop. The workshop will feature sessions dedicated specifically to forming UK-Pakistan collaborations and also a session on preparing proposals for this seeding funding call.

The application form for seed funding can be found here.

The deadline for applications is 24th June, 2021.
